R.I.P. Sean Taylor

In a tragic turn of events Sean Taylor, 24, passed away this morning from a gun shot wound to the leg that he suffered Sunday night in an apparent home invasion.  Taylor was a safety for the Washington Redskins, a former Hurricane, and a father to an 18 month old daughter.
Those who follow football know [...]

Run, Ricky, Run – Dolphins/Steelers Live Blogging

With the excitement of Ricky’s return I thought that I would do a little live blogging. I’ll update some thoughts on the game and Ricky’s performance and post them each quarter.
1st Quarter:
- What a sloppy field. Not sure what they were thinking in Pittsburgh trying to replace a field w/in the same week [...]

RUN, RICKY, RUN!!!

Tonight we will see round two of the Ricky Williams return to the NFL and, unfortunately, the Miami Dolphins.  Due to injuries and an abysmal 0-10 record the Dolphins decided to keep Ricky Williams when the commissioner decided to re-instate him after multiple failed drug tests.  Tonight, Ricky will be the starting running back on [...]

VY

Well, the Titans didn’t get the win yesterday, but Vince Young went off last night and looked great.  Vince finished 26-41 for 305 yards passing and had 74 yards rushing.  He made several great passes and check downs when there was good coverage.  He did throw two interceptions on the final two drives of the [...]

Man Crush!?!?

Seriously, how much does Tony Romo kick ass?
The guy always has fun playing the toughest position in football.  He makes great plays with his incredible improvisational skills and most of all, he wins.  Tony Romo is now 16-5 as a starter in the NFL.  He has managed to somehow silence Terrell Owens by feeding him [...]

Comeback Saturday

Off to a good start last night. Man, that Nevada coach is an idiot. That was some of the worst clock management in the final three minutes that I have ever seen. Plenty of mistakes were made that took away a chance for his team to win, but they still covered the [...]
